I got simple answer it will save you a lot of time reading all the technical jargon no one understands, stick to this brands Canon EOS 550D, Nikon SLR D90, Olympus E620, Pentax K-7, Sony a550 and you can't go wrong all of it a good cameras if you after top of the amateur cameras EOS 5D MARK II is to go, or canon 7D, Sony a900 is as good but I think is too expensive for what it is.
